In this post I’ll walk you through every attraction at Animal Kingdom! It’s the animal-themed park, where you can enjoy a wide range of attractions set in nature, themed to The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Avatar and more.
Animal Kingdom is the park that opens early in the morning and closes relatively early. Because of that, people with Park Hopper tickets often plan to visit Animal Kingdom in the morning.
It also has the largest land area of any Disney World park, but most of that is the safari zone where the animals live, so the part you actually walk around is fairly compact. That means short walking routes that are easy on your feet.
Below are Animal Kingdom’s attractions by land. I’ve sorted them into four types and added my own star rating ⭐️ as a self-proclaimed ride fanatic:
- 🌠 Thrill ride – rides with real thrills
- 🐌 Slow ride – rides that move slowly
- 🎭 Show – attractions you watch sitting in a theater
- 🤩 Character experience – where you can meet Disney characters
Plus:
- 💧 marks attractions where you might get a little wet.
- 💫 marks attractions included in Lightning Lane Multi Pass, the paid line-skipping option.
